What the best dressed walls will be wearing this season! Interior Trends for Autumn/Winter

Bored of staring at the same old wall for the last six months?  Why not lift your spirits by giving your home a makeover!

Here our Interiors expert, Bee Osborn tells us what’s in and what’s out for the Autumn/Winter months ahead.

Calm and comfortable:
  • Earthy warm colours like oatmeal, beige, sandy shades, terracotta and natural green hues
  • Textured art and rattan/wicker furniture
  • Cosy fabrics, such as Bouclé (a cosy teddy bear feel)
  • Plaster effect lime-washed walls
  • Line art and decorative plates

Confident and bold:

  • High contrast look, with striking colours and bold patterns, pop art and dark walls
  • Grandmillennial/Granny chic with wild floral wallpapers and rich glamorous tones and velvets
  • Moving on to more daring and dark kitchens, and using more than one colour/finish in a kitchen/2 tone kitchens
  • Antique mirror

Look out for:

  • Pantone’s Colour of the Year 2020 is ‘Classic Blue’
  • Big focus on sustainability and more carefully considered choices, like upcycling and reducing waste
