GB Essentials … ‘Where British Luxury Meets’

Given the torrid time many small businesses have been experiencing over the past months, we are loving the story behind GB Essentials.  This collection of luxury British brands have been brought together with the aim of supporting each other to ensure business can continue to flourish and grow during these tricky times

We speak to Founder Angus Gordon Lennox about how GB Essentials started.

Back in March, lockdown had just been imposed and I watched helplessly as most of our businesses ground to an immediate and rather frightening halt. What on earth to do?

We decided to significantly expand our on-line effort, but like so many small businesses our reach was limited, and our marketing budget restricted. I started to think about how to expand ours’, and others’ reach.

I was myself buying online from some really high quality small British brands and it struck me that their customers and ours might have similar outlooks and shopping needs. Perhaps, by offering to send other brand’s details to our customers, those brands might do the same for us, and our and their names would reach a far wider audience with similar tastes.

I spoke to my favourite British brands and most of them embraced the idea with huge enthusiasm, and all in a GDPR compliant way.

“GB Essentials …… “Where British Luxury Meets” was born. A collaborative collection of the very best of British artisan businesses helping each other to expand their online businesses.”

The collection includes the best of British: Scottish gin and bath and body luxury, wonderful food from around the country, castle experiences, artisan chocolate, engraved glass, jewellry and cashmere. Thats just the start and cigars, nuts, smoked trout, fishing, fine bone china, macarons, cartridges, photo albums, loo seats, fudge, leather goods, ski holidays, caviar, plants, shrubs and trees, and fishing gear also feature. There is literally something for everyone.

Please shop with each and every one of them. They are the very highest quality in their fields and “Shop Local…. Online” will be an enormous help to them and to the wider British Artisan community.

GB Essentials are now offering School Notices members up to 30% off when you shop online. Use code SCN10 at checkout
