Dyslexia Awareness Week

The Theme is “Positive about Dyslexia” and the week runs from 2nd-8th October.

Each day will have a specific aim including, Early Identification, Appropriate Teaching Provision and Raising Dyslexia Awareness. You can use their website to find out more about screening tools.

Look out for updates on social media with hashtag #positivedyslexia2017 . We love the Dayglo books – the first and only books designed to address the difficulties faced by people who have to deal with Visual Stress and Dyslexia on a daily basis. We also really like these learning support resources for parents to use at home.

Find more learning aids and materials from the British Dylexia Association’s carefully chosen affinity partners.
The Helen Arkell Dyslexia Centre offers dyslexia support and advice, including dyslexia assessments and specialist tuition.
