Dust off the Christmas cobwebs…

… with bags of family fun at Newbury Racecourse on Saturday 28th December 2019.

Stuck for ideas on how to keep the family busy between Christmas and New Year? Don’t miss Betway Challow Hurdle Day at Newbury Racecourse on Saturday 28 December packed with fun for the whole family. And best of all, under 18’s go completely free! There’s bags of entertainment to keep the whole family busy and to round off a fantastic year at Newbury Racecourse.

To celebrate the release of Disney’s Frozen 2, the little ones have an extra Christmas present in store – there’s a special meet and greet and photo opportunities with Elsa and Olaf where you can hear them tell stories of their magical adventures in Arendelle.

For those that prefer getting their hands dirty, Creation Station will host a slime workshop, free for all to join. Create the perfect goo and gross out the family in a masterclass suitable for all ages in the Dubai Duty Free Grandstand.

And not forgetting the fantastic last day’s racing for 2019 at Newbury Racecourse, including the running of the Betway Challow Hurdle, previously won by the likes of Denman, Taquin de Seuil and Barters Hill.

Newbury is also proud to support this year’s charity, Swings and Smiles, based in Thatcham. Swings and Smiles offer support, friendship and activities through play for children and young people with a variety of disabilities and special needs. Stop by their stall and decorate festive biscuits.  You can also support by bringing along any unwanted Christmas gifts toys, craft goods to the drop-off point on the day, located in the Grandstand Enclosure outside the Weighing Room. This will help provide activities in the centre, or go towards fundraising for 2020.

Tickets are available to buy HERE or through the Box Office on 01635 40015.
